Edna was an honoree in Albrecht Acres’ Hall of Fame, Circle One of the Martha Society of [[IMMANUEL CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH]], Secretary of Dubuque County Women’s Food Service, Vice-President of Sherrill Methodist Women’s Society, member of the Christian Women's Group, and “star” in her beloved bowling team, Brunch Bunch. Among her children were Dr. Darryl Mozena, a frequent contributor to this encyclopedia, and Ambassador [[MOZENA, Dan]].

During WORLD WAR II, she worked at the FARLEY AND LOETSCHER MANUFACTURING COMPANY.
