BLINKS, Edwin D. (Marion, IA, Mar. 20, 1934-- ). Administrator. A teacher in the DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT (1957-1965), Blinks later served as a district administrator (1965-1992) in charge of finances. He was a board member of the American Cancer Society and president of the Downtown Kiwanis Club (1982-1983). Active in the Masonic Lodge, Blinks served as the Grand Master, Grand Lodge of Iowa, AF. and A.M. (1992-1993) and Lt. Governor-Eastern Iowa-Illinois District (1996-1997). He was the chairman of the Trustees of the Grand Lodge of Iowa and the Iowa Masonic Scholarship Endowment Fund (1982 and 1991). Blinks received the DeMolay Legion of Honor (1983) and was the Distinguished President of the Kiwanis (1982-1983).
