Korcheski was an avid supporter of the Iowa Special Olympics. He coached football, basketball and track at Jefferson Jr. High and was a member of the [[HEMPSTEAD HIGH SCHOOL]] baseball program. KROCHESKI, Jr., William P. "Bill" (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 18, 1943--Iowa City, IA, May 11, 2011). The son of William P. and Eleanor (Sprengelmeyer) Krocheski Sr., Bill graduated from WAHLERT HIGH SCHOOL in 1961 and received both his bachelor of arts in 1966 and his masters of arts in 1970 from LORAS COLLEGE.
