KROCHESKI, William P. "Bill"
KROCHESKI, Jr., William P. "Bill" (Dubuque, IA, Mar. 18, 1943--Iowa City, IA, May 11, 2011). The son of William P. and Eleanor (Sprengelmeyer) Krocheski Sr., Bill graduated from WAHLERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL in 1961 and received both his bachelor of arts in 1966 and his masters of arts in 1970 from LORAS COLLEGE.
Krocheski taught in the DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT for thirty-six years, having also taught at St. Raphael's Catholic School. He retired in 2004 from JEFFERSON MIDDLE SCHOOL. He also worked numerous years at WILLIAM C. BROWN COMPANY.
Krocheski was an avid supporter of the Iowa Special Olympics. He coached football, basketball and track at Jefferson Jr. High and was a member of the STEPHEN HEMPSTEAD HIGH SCHOOL baseball program. He was a past member of the DUBUQUE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY, a current member of the National Council for Social Studies, Dubuque Retired Teachers Association, and served as a board member of the Notre Dame Club of Dubuque.
