GLAB BROTHERS. Located on the southwest corner of Twenty-seventh Street and Couler Avenue, the Glab Brothers brewery was operated by Nicholas GLAB, Alois Glab and Frank Glab.

All the remains at the site of the former brewery in 2010 is an overgrown semi-circle of stone that signaled the entrance into the cave where the beer was stored. One of the buildings used by the brewery, it is believed, for their horses is now the home of KEY CITY DECORATIVE GLASS WORKS.

Now sealed, this cave along Central Avenue was once used by the brewery. Photo courtesy: Gary Gasell
