Welcome to Encyclopedia Dubuque, the revised and expanded online form of the popular reference book Dubuque: The Encyclopedia written by Randolph W. Lyon. Encyclopedia Dubuque features more than 1,835 images and over 3,227 articles relating to the history and culture of Dubuque, Iowa.
Special appreciation goes to Robert Joseph Reding whose friendship, guidance, and eagerness to share his collections of Dubuque memorabilia initially made most of the visual portion of this website possible.
