WALSH, Harry J. (Dubuque, IA, Nov. 20, 1890--Dubuque, IA, July 10, 1977). Walsh, a linotype operator for the TELEGRAPH HERALD for fifty years, was one of the city's first organizers of bowling leagues. For his efforts on behalf of the sport, Walsh was awarded a charter membership in the DUBUQUE BOWLING ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME.
