The 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory listed 831-835 Main.
The 1899-1900 Dubuque City Directory listed 812 Main.
The firm of Sullivan and Stampfer was dissolved on August 1, 1901. (1) D. A. Sullivan was suffering from poor health and planned to move to the West in search of a better environment. The resulting company became STAMPFER'S DEPARTMENT STORE.
