SMITH, Don E. (Reverend). (Zwingle, IA, March 3, 1928-Flagstaff, AZ, June 23, 1989). A graduate of DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, Reverend Smith served as a missionary to the Navajo for thirty-five years. For the last twenty-three years of his life, Smith worked for the United Indians Mission at Flagstaff translating Christian literature for other tribes.
