Founded in 1996 by Wayne BRIGGS, Platinum addressed the need for long-term care insurance which paid cash to policy holders if they faced the need to live in a nursing home. The company diversified to include other types of policies covering catastrophic health issues including heart attack and stroke.
The company played an important role when it refurbished a historic building once used by the KEY CITY STEAM CANDY COMPANY on Lower Main Street.
