PALMER, W.A.
PALMER, W. A. (Genesee Co., NY, Dec. 18, 1836--Unknown). Palmer left New York State and moved to Galena, Illinois in 1857.
In 1860 Palmer moved to Dubuque and began his business. This was reorganized in 1864 as the firm of PALMER, WINALL & CO., blank-book manufacturers, printer and book binders. In 1879, the company erected a large brick building on the corner of Sixth and Iowa STREETS to meet the demands of their trade.
