NATIONAL SAVINGS BANK. In January, 1866, the National Savings Bank was established with Franklin Hinds as president. This institution was closely associated with the FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF DUBUQUE. (1) By July, 1866 the officers were listed as F. Hinds, president; John H. THOMPSON, vice president; and H. M. Kingman, treasurer. (2)
