MILWAUKEE LAND CO. The Milwaukee Land Company was incorporated in 1881 by R. S. MERRILL, John W. Cary, P. M. Myers, and B. G. Lennox. The stated purpose of the company was to buy, hold, improve, lease and sell lands and town lots in the State of Iowa. The company was capitalized at $100,000. (1) The articles were renewed in 1921. (2)

The 1909 through 1934 Dubuque City Directory gave the address for this business as 121 8th in the Lincoln Building Room 6.
