FREIBURGER, Nicholas (Rickardsville, IA, Apr. 30, 1885--Dubuque, IA, June 20, 1989). Freiburger was a moving force behind the incorporation of Sageville and served as its first mayor.
In 1924 he started HILLDALE DAIRY, later part of Swiss Valley Farms, and was chosen Father of the Year in 1984 by HOLY GHOST CATHOLIC CHURCH in which he was the oldest member.
