FLYNN PRINTING AND GRAPHICS. Madonna and Melvin Flynn purchased GARTNER PRINTING COMPANY in 1978. Between then and 1992 when the company was renamed, the gross sales increased tenfold and another division had opened in Wisconsin. The number of employees included three full-time and one part time. In 1992 the business in Dubuque had eleven employees while the division in Kenosha, Wisconsin had six. The firm began printing the programs for the DUBUQUE GREYHOUND PARK AND CASINO in 1985. The Kenosha division printed the racing programs for the Dairyland Greyhound Park. The company also produced and printed "Tri-State Tips," a TOURISM guide dist4ributed free to hotels and other businesses.
The 1993 Dubuque City Directory listed 1850 Central.
