CULLEN, Margaret M. (Fort Dodge, Iowa, Oct 15, 1921--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 18, 2012). A graduate of the Mercy Nursing School in 1943, Cullen was employed during WORLD WAR II at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Interested in helping those with mental and physical disabilities, Cullen was active in Area Residential Care and began an education program in Dubuque for the handicapped. With her husband, Kenneth, she helped establish Albrecht Acres. She was a member of the Iowa Governor's Council on Aging and the Mental Health Board.
