CONNELLY, Edgar J/ (Springfield, IL, Dec. 16, 1902--Dubuque, IA, Jan. 25, 1994). Physician. The former chief of staff at FINLEY HOSPITAL (THE) and XAVIER HOSPITAL, Connelly performed Xavier's first surgical procedure in 1950. President of the Dubuque County Medical Society in 1958, he was a lifetime member of the Academy of Ophthalmology and the Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
