BRAY, Louis B. (Dubuque, IA, 1901--Dubuque, IA, Nov. 7, 1966). The son of Dr. William and Margaret Astor Bray, Bray was associated with DUBUQUE STONE PRODUCTS COMPANY for thirty years and was the manager until he retired. He was also the president of Tri-State Paving.

Locally Bray served as the vice chairman of the Lay Advisory Development Committee of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, member of the CLARKE COLLEGE Advisory Board, board of directors of the American Retail Coal Association, and past president of the Dubuque Retail Fuel Dealers Association. He was the organizer of past president of the LORAS ACADEMY Dad's Club and past president of the Dubuque Lion's Club. He was past vice-president of the DUBUQUE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and the Iowa Crushed Limestone Association. Bray was past exalted Ruler of Dubuque Elks Lodge No 297 and the State District Deputy of the Elks. He was president of the Past Exalted Rulers Club.
