BECK, Daniel
BECK, Daniel. (Dubuque, IA, Sept. 22, 1925--July 4, 2012). A graduate of DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, Beck served in the military during WORLD WAR II.
He played briefly in the minors. He was a member of the Lawton Giants of the Sooner State League in 1950 and hit .274/.398/.411 with 15 runs and 14 walks in 21 games. He fielded .915 in the outfield.
Following his baseball days, he was a mailman for many years.
