The 1880 ''Dubuque City Directory'' stated that this business, music company, was to be found at 820 Main. In 1883 the same address was being used although the business was listed as "piano tuner."
The 1875-1876 '''Dubuque City Directory''' gave the address as 661 Main. The company was then in the business of publishing music with a catalog that offered 150 pieces of vocal and instrumental music. (1)


The 1878-79 '''Dubuque City Directory''' listed the east side of Main between 8th and 9th.
The 1880 '''Dubuque City Directory''' stated that this business, music company, was to be found at 820 Main. In 1883 the same address was being used although the business was listed as "piano tuner."
By 1897 he had moved to Chicago and was a book dealer. (2)

R. KOHAUS. The 1873-74 Dubuque City Directory listed a news depot at the address of 149 Main.

The 1875-1876 Dubuque City Directory gave the address as 661 Main. The company was then in the business of publishing music with a catalog that offered 150 pieces of vocal and instrumental music. (1)

The 1878-79 Dubuque City Directory listed the east side of Main between 8th and 9th.

The 1880 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business, music company, was to be found at 820 Main. In 1883 the same address was being used although the business was listed as "piano tuner."

By 1897 he had moved to Chicago and was a book dealer. (2)
