TABLE MOUND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Established in 1960 as part of the Table Mound School District. Table Mound School was built as a five-room school for grades kindergarten through eighth. Students from eight one-room schools that had been consolidated by state law were served.

In 1962 the school was annexed by the DUBUQUE COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT. At that time, the building became a kindergarten through sixth grade elementary school. In recent years up to 1991, Table Mound showed one of the fastest enrollment increases in the District.
