MEYER, Rick. (Dubuque, IA, June 5, 1945--Pomona, CA, Dec. 31, 2001). A 1963 graduate of WAHLERT HIGH SCHOOL, Meyer served in the VIETNAM WAR as a helicopter crew chief with HMH 361 "Tweeds Tigers" from 1966 to 1967.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973 and a master's degree in health professions education at Western University in 1999.

Meyer authored textbooks for respiratory therapy and was a member of the National Accreditation Committee for Respiratory Therapy.
