FAUST AND O'CONNELL. Faust & O'Connell, dealers in groceries and provisions, was on the corner of Clay and Ninth STREETS in July, 1875. The company was opened by William M. FAUST.

In December 1879 the store offered an advertisement in the Dubuque Herald claiming that it had on hand 300 dozen fresh eggs, 500 pounds of butter, a large supply of turkeys, geese and other poultry, and a well-selected stock of family groceries. (1)

The 1878-79 and 1880 Dubuque City Directory listed 895 Clay.
