SUSHKO, Greg (Amityville, NY, Sept. 25, 1946--Dubuque, IA, December 19, 2018. The son of John and Irene (Bennett) Sushko, Greg graduated from the UNIVERSITY OF DUBUQUE in December of 1970, after serving in the US Army from 1966-1968. After a short time with the National Farmers Organization, he spent the remainder of his working career with FLEXSTEEL INDUSTRIES, INC. in Dubuque.

In 1971 Greg became a charter member of the Dubuque Evening Lions Club. An active member, he was named a Melvin Jones Fellow in 1994. After his retirement, he served as a volunteer at FINLEY HOSPITAL (THE), the NATIONAL MISSISSIPPI RIVER MUSEUM AND AQUARIUM, DUBUQUE REGIONAL HUMANE SOCIETY, the University of Dubuque Heritage Center, and Meals on Wheels.
