ASIAN GOURMET. Opened by Lien Tran in 1998, the restaurant took the place of Uncle Harry's Diner on West 11th which closed in 1997. The food featured included native dishes from Vietnam, specialties from Thailand, Japan, and the Philippines. Tran and her family escaped from Vietnam in 1981 and moved to Dubuque in 1986.
