Plaque awarded for 75 years of producing Coca Cola in Dubuque

COCA-COLA BOTTLING COMPANY. The first mention of "coco cola" (sic) being manufactured in Dubuque comes in 1910. In that year a portion of the former PEASLEE & COMPANY was leasted to H. A. Hill for the manufacture of this product. (1)

Located at 2435 Kerper Blvd. in 1968, the company was established in Dubuque in 1905 when it had thirty employees manufacturing soft drinks.
