SASS, Charles. (Guttenberg, IA--Berlin, Germany, Aug. 10,1926). Banker. Sass was elected the city treasurer of Dubuque in 1890. He later resigned to become cashier of the Pioneer Trust & Savings Bank. He held this office until July 1925, when he was elected president of the same institution.
