RICHARDSON MOTORS. Auto dealer. According to an article in the TELEGRAPH HERALD in 2010, the original showroom was located at 770 Iowa Street. SHIKE-RICHARDSON, INC. opened around 1965 in a large brick building on the corner of Iowa and Eighth STREETS. The company, a complete automobile service, sold Buick and Cadillac vehicles. A used car lot linked to the company was located at 870 Iowa Street.

Due to urban renewal, the dealership was forced to relocate in 1969. Richardson Motors moved to 1475 Kennedy Road. The 770 Iowa Street location became the site of the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center.
