DUBUQUE BOWLING ASSOCIATION
DUBUQUE BOWLING ASSOCIATION. Gathering at the Fitzgerald Cigar Company in 1926, a group of bowlers organized with the guidance of James Edward Treanor. All the living past presidents of the association gathered in 1947 and were each awarded a gold pin by Martin Unmacht. These people included (with the years they were president: Harry J. WALSH (1930-31), Al Johnson (1931-1933), Harry Bennett (1934-1937), Anton WELU(1937-1938), Art Trausch (1938-1939), Vince Weber (1939-1940), Walter Strub (1940-1941), Jake Ernsdorf (1941-1942), Earl Kruse (1942-1943), Al Scharphoff (1943-1944), Vince Thor (1044-1945), John Palmer (1945-1946), Lee Brandon (1946-1947).
