SUZI-Q DRIVE IN. After the site had been an A & W Root Beer, the location was operated by Martin Fangmann, a former assistant city milk inspector and owner of SANITARY FARM DAIRIES. The business was closed when Central became a one-way street. The entire existence of business at the location ran from the mid-1940s to early 1960s.
The 1957 and 1959 Dubuque City Directory listed 1454 Central.
