WALTZ, John J. "Hank." (Dubuque, IA, June 13, 1917--Dubuque, IA, June 22, 1992). Founder and president, Washington Street Neighborhood Association. Waltz, an active member of the Democratic Party, served on the advisory board and board of directors of AQUINAS INSTITUTE. He was also a founder of the Dubuque Field Archers Association and the Washington Tool Library.
Waltz was active in the DUBUQUE BOYS' CLUB and served as an instructor for many years. He was a board member and past president of Legal Services of Dubuque County and chairman for two terms of the Dubuque Dock Commission.
