WISSEL, Fred G.(Ascaffenburg, Germany--Dubuque, IA, Oct. 17, 1961). Butcher. Wissel was a lifelong butcher in Dubuque and operated Wissel's Market at 19th and Jackson for fifty-two years. At one time, his family lived in the house adjoining the market. He was later employed at the Dubuque Storage and Transfer Company. His son, Cyril WISSEL was one of the founders of H & W Motor Express Company and president of Dubuque Storage and Transfer Company.
