PARKER, Johnny W. (Memphis, TN, June 13, 1946--Dubuque, IA, May 27, 2012). Growing up in Dubuque, Parker attended LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, WASHINGTON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL, and graduated from DUBUQUE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. He served in the 101st Airborne Division during the VIETNAM WAR. Returning to Dubuque, Parker worked at the Dubuque Boys and Girls Club and Operation: New View.

He was an 18-time Golden Gloves Champion.
