NEW, Harry D. (Dubuque, IA, Jan. 8, 1921--Dubuque, IA, Aug. 9, 1990). A veteran of WORLD WAR II, New was a member of the DUBUQUE SOFTBALL HALL OF FAME. He retired as a player and manager of the Koolmotors around 1939 or 1940. He was involved in baseball long enough to manage his own son, Harry, Jr. Their team won many city championships.
