In 1964 she represented Iowa voters at the 28th Republican National Convention as a Barry Goldwater delegate. When her husband chose to run for the United States Congress in 1972, she campaigned with him and after the campaign resigned her position as Vice Chair. After the death of her husband in 1986, she operated Lange Insurance for three years before selling the company. | |||
