MILITANT ORDER OF SPARTAN KNIGHTS. Organization begun in 1934 by [[KALTENBACH, Frederick Wilhelm|Frederick Wilhelm KALTENBACH]]. Boys who joined the organization participated in boxing at the [[YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (Y.M.C.A.)]], picnics, and marksmanship practice with .22 caliber rifles.
