CHARLES CANNON. Charles and Henry Cannon sold groceries at 41 Main from 1857 to 1860. The grocery was located next to another grocery owned by George Starr whose business was next to the AMERICAN HOTEL.
The token reads "C. Cannon/Grocer/No. 41/Dubuque, Iowa." It was made from a Seated Half Dollar.
