FERRING, John P. (Rhine, Prussia, 1841-- ). Ferring moved to Dubuque from Germany in 1856. He worked for RUMPF AND BECKER in different jobs before joining the renamed firm of RUMPF, HOSFORD & FERRING in 1881. (1)
