TABLE MOUND INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT. With six separate schools, the Table Mound district was unique in Dubuque County when most independent districts offered one schoolhouse. Table Mound had schools on English Mill Road just north of North Cascade Road, on Swiss Valley Road just west of Swiss Valley Park, Rt. 151 at Nolan Lane, on Jecklin Lane just south of the Dubuque Memorial Gardens, Merlin Lane just west of U.S. 61, Elmwood Drive at U.S. 61 and in Key West.
