M. HOLLENFELZ. The 1874-1875 through 1884-85 Dubuque City Directory stated that this business was located at 154-168 6th. By 1882 Hollenfelz had enough success operating the bar that he entered the wholesale liquor trade at the same address. His warehouse and bottling works were located at the corner of 6th and Iowa.
The 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory listed 154 to 162 6th.
The 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory listed 262 6th.
In 1892 Hollenfelz moved his wholesale liquor business to East Dubuque, Illinois where he continued to operate it through 1900.
