Trausch had also managed the business in Cedar Rapids for a time before returning to Dubuque in the 1960s. He remained as vice president and general manager of [[METZ BAKING COMPANY]], based in Sioux City, until 1989. Thomas J. Trausch was the son of [[TRAUSCH, Arthur, Sr.|Arthur TRAUSCH, Sr.]] who joined the company in 1914. The baking company had been established as the John P. Trausch Baking Company in 1907. | ||
