METZ BAKING COMPANY. In 1976 G. Heileman Brewing Company purchased the TRAUSCH BAKING COMPANY and made it a part of the Metz Baking Company headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa.
The 1993 Dubuque City Directory listed 2197 University. The Sunbeam Bakery Outlet located at the same address closed on October 5, 2012. (1)
