TRAUSCH, Arthur, Sr. (Luxembourg City, Luxembourg--Dubuque, IA, March 10, 1980). In 1914 Trausch came to Dubuque where he joined his uncle in the John P. Trausch Baking Company. In 1926 Trausch formed a partnership with William CLEMENS, Sr. in the firm known as the TRAUSCH BAKING COMPANY.

Trausch served as secretary-treasurer of the DUBUQUE SHOOTING SOCIETY for over forty years and as president of the Dubuque Automobile Association for many years. He also served as a director of the KEY CITY BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, and the Motor Club of Iowa.
