SILVER MOON RESTAURANT. Described as a restaurant and lunch room in the Dubuque Daily Herald in 1886, the Silver Moon was owned by John Custer and William Beyer. It occupied the building that once contained the Richards & Rose Jewelry Store.

The 1886-87 Dubuque City Directory listed 647 Main.

The 1890-91 Dubuque City Directory listed 551-559 Main.
