JAEGER, Leo A. (Rev. Msgr.) (Dyersville, IA--Dubuque, IA, Apr. 7, 1977). Educator. Jaeger, a graduate of [[LORAS COLLEGE]], served as associate pastor of Sacred Heart parish (1933-1939), professor of religion at Loras (1939-1944), and secretary and vice chancellor of the archdiocese (1944-1947). Designated the Domestic Prelate in 1949, Jaeger served Mount St. Francis Convent as chaplain 1947 to 1950. He was also assistant director of the lay retreat and a director of the Legion of Decency.
