ALTMAN, Franc K. (Dubuque, IA, Feb. 17,1890--Dubuque, IA, Sept. 23, 1945). Treasurer, CARR, ADAMS AND COLLIER COMPANY. Altman, the son of [[ALTMAN, Franc W.|Franc W. ALTMAN]], was president of the Horse Creek Coal and Land Company of Charleston, West Virginia. Active in Dubuque, he was treasurer of the [[YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (Y.M.C.A.)]] for almost twenty years, served as president of the [[DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB]], and was an active member of the Community Chest.
