Eldest son of [[GLAB, Adam|Adam GLAB]], Nicholas was associated all his life in management of the [[NORTHERN BREWING COMPANY]]. Upon the death of his father, his brothers joined Glab, and in 1892 the brewing company was consolidated with other local [[BREWERIES]] into the [[DUBUQUE BREWING AND MALTING COMPANY]]. Nicholas served as president and general manager.
