CATHOLIC PRINTING COMPANY. Publishing company. Founded on June 1, 1871, the Catholic Printing Company was established to publish a Catholic weekly in the German language. The LUXEMBURGER GAZETTE whose motto was "In The Service of the Church--For Truth and Right" was issued on August 4, 1871.
On January 7, 1875, the company issued the IOWA. The first edition of the KATHOLISCHER WESTEN was printed by the company on January 5, 1892. The CATHOLIC TRIBUNE was first published on January 19, 1899.
The 1916-1917 White's Dubuque County Directory listed 295 6th as the address.
