MISSISSIPPI VALLEY HIGHWAY. Part of a 2,000 mile route from Minnesota to Louisiana, the Mississippi Valley Highway in Iowa ran from Chester, Iowa on the Minnesota/Iowa border to Davenport through Dubuque. It was registered on September 17, 1920 and was sponsored by the Mississippi Valley Association.
