ALTMAN, Franc K. (Dubuque, IA, Feb. 17,1890--Dubuque, IA, Sept. 23, 1945). Treasurer, CARR, ADAMS AND COLLIER COMPANY. Altman, the son of Franc W. ALTMAN, was president of the Horse Creek Coal and Land Company of Charleston, West Virginia. Active in Dubuque, he was treasurer of the YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION (Y.M.C.A.) for almost twenty years, served as president of the DUBUQUE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, and was an active member of the Community Chest.
